Job Type - Full-time

Description

Works under the general supervision of the Conmigo Early Education Center Director.  Responsible for providing quality educational/socialization programs to children that foster growth and development and comply with organizational policy, funding contracts, state/federal guidelines/regulations, and accreditation standards.  Provides leadership to other staff.  Rotates through classrooms providing breaks for classroom teachers.  Seeking individuals who can manage multiple tasks, use Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and e-mail effectively, and willing to learn new classroom assessment tool.

Minimum Requirements

• Must pass State of Iowa Background Check
• Must pass National Fingerprint Verification Check
• Bilingual- English and Spanish
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and translating
• Must be available for year-round program (12 months)
• Must be available for FULL-TIME work
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have basic computer skills
• B.A. in Early Childhood Education preferred or any of the following:
  • A.A. in Early Childhood Education
  • CDA
  • B.A. in Elementary Education
  • 2 or more years experience in child care setting or home provider setting
